LOU REED
Lou Reed was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer, born on March 2, 1942, in Brooklyn and died on October 27, 2013, in Southampton.
He is considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the pioneers of rock and roll.
With his group The Velvet Underground, he contributed to the popularization of the musical genre known as "noise rock".
Reed also had a successful solo career, recording 27 studio albums, three of which are among the 500 greatest albums of all time according to Rolling Stone magazine.
His most famous songs are "Walk on the Wild Side", "Perfect Day" and "Satellite of Love".
