"Mick Smiley is an American musical artist, born on July 9, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois. He began his musical career as a singer and guitarist in the rock band Smiley Smile, before pursuing a solo career. His self-titled first album was released in 1987, followed by "Mick Smiley 2.0" in 1989 and "Mick Smiley 3.0" in 1991.
Subsequently, Mick Smiley left the music world to venture into film and television. He has acted in several films, including "The Last Samurai" in 2000, "Return of the Jedi" in 2003, "The Simpsons Movie" in 2006, "Transformers" in 2007, "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" in 2009, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" in 2011.
He has also appeared in various television series, including "The Simpsons," "Family Guy," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," "Fantastic Beasts," and "The Minions."
Mick Smiley has also worked as a producer and director, producing and directing "The Simpsons Movie 2" in 2012 and "The Minions" in 2015. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California, with his wife and two children."
