BIOGRAPHY
Millie Scott, born June 24, 1953, is an American R&B, soul, and disco singer. She began her career in the 1970s by recording for the Motown label, before joining Prelude Records in 1982. It was with this latter label that Scott experienced her greatest success with the single "Prisoner of Love," which reached number one on Billboard's R&B chart in 1983. She continued her musical career throughout the 1980s and 1990s, but was unable to replicate her commercial success.
