Modern Talking is a German pop music duo formed in 1984 by Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen. The duo split up in 1987 and then resumed their collaboration in 1998. Modern Talking achieved international success in the 1980s with hits such as "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", "You Can Win If You Want", "Cheri, Cheri Lady" and "Brother Louie". In 1984, the duo sold more than 60 million records and was ranked among the best-selling artists in the world.
