New Order is a British music group formed in 1980, consisting of the remaining members of Joy Division, namely Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, and Stephen Morris. The band's third album, "Power, Corruption & Lies," released in 1983, was a commercial success. New Order's music is influenced by new wave, electronic music, disco, and house. The group is also considered a pioneer of techno music with their album "Technique," released in 1989.
