BIOGRAPHY

Paul Carrack is a British singer, songwriter, and musician, born on April 21, 1951, in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Carrack began his musical career in the mid-1960s by playing in various rock and blues bands. In 1971, he joined the progressive rock band Ace, which had a hit with the single "How Long". Carrack left Ace in 1974 to join the rock group Squeeze, with whom he recorded three albums. In 1981, he left Squeeze to embark on a solo career. Carrack has released several solo albums throughout his career, including "Nightbird" (1985), "One Good Reason" (1987), and "Blue Views" (1995). He has also collaborated with numerous artists, such as Mike + The Mechanics, Roger Daltrey, Eric Clapton, and Phil Collins. In 2002, Carrack was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Ace.
