Paul McCartney is a British musician, singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist born on June 18, 1942, in Liverpool. He is regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. As a member of the band The Beatles, McCartney played a crucial role in the musical revolution of the 1960s and is considered one of the most prolific and popular composers of pop and rock music. As a member of the group, he contributed to the composition of over two hundred songs, including "Yesterday," "Let It Be," "Hey Jude," and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."
