BIOGRAPHY
"The Presidents of the United States of America is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington. The group was formed in 1993 by Chris Ballew (also known as Caspar Babypants) and Dave Dederer, both former members of the band The Young Fresh Fellows. They were later joined by Jason Finn. The band's self-titled debut album was released in 1995. The group is known for their stripped-down sound and humorous lyrics. Their biggest hit is 'Peaches,' which reached number two on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart in 1996. The band broke up in 1998, but reunited in 2000. They released two more albums, 'Love Everybody' (2000) and 'These are the good times people' (2008), before disbanding again in 2016."
