BIOGRAPHY
Quarterflash is an American new wave band formed in 1980 in Portland, Oregon. The band consists of singer Rindy Ross, guitarist Marv Ross, bassist Rick DiPietro, and drummer Jack Charles. The band's self-titled first album, Quarterflash, was released in 1981 and reached fifth place on the Billboard 200. Their most well-known single, "Harden My Heart," reached third place on the Billboard Hot 100. Their second album, Back Into Blue, was released in 1983 and reached forty-ninth place on the Billboard 200. The band then experienced a commercial decline and disbanded in 1985.
