BIOGRAPHY
Robbie Nevil is an American singer, songwriter, and music producer. He was signed by Arista Records in 1986, and released his debut album, Robbie Nevil, in 1987. The album produced three singles that reached the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, including "C'est la vie", which became his biggest hit. Nevil released two additional albums for Arista, Wot's It to Ya in 1988 and A Place Like This in 1989, before leaving the label in 1991. He then signed with EMI Records and released the album Can't Get Enough in 1992. The album was not as commercially successful as his predecessors, and Nevil left EMI in 1993. He then released two independent albums, in 1995 and 1998, before signing with Sony Music Entertainment in 2001. Nevil released his fourth album, Some Kind of Wonderful, in 2002. The album was a commercial success, and produced two singles that reached the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. Nevil then released two compilation albums, in 2006 and 2007.
