Robert Farel was born on October 10, 1961 in Marseille, France. He is a French composer, singer, and writer. Farel has composed music for over 150 films and television series. His work includes the original scores for the films "The Return of Martin Guerre" and "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly". He also wrote the theme songs for the television series "Borgia" and "The Returned". In 2012, Farel was named "Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters" by the French government.
