BIOGRAPHY
Roger Hodgson is a British singer-songwriter-musician born on March 21, 1950, in Portsmouth, England. He grew up in Oxford before moving to Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, at the age of 12. Hodgson began his musical career as a member of the progressive rock band Supertramp in 1969. He is known for writing and performing several of the group's hits, including "Dreamer", "Give a Little Bit", "Breakfast in America", "Take the Long Way Home", and "It's Raining Again". Hodgson left Supertramp in 1983 to pursue a solo career. He has released seven solo albums, such as "In the Eye of the Storm" (1984), "Rites of Passage" (1992), and "Open the Door" (2000). In addition to his solo work, Hodgson has collaborated with other artists, including Bob Dylan on the album "Slow Train Coming" (1979).
