Shanice Wilson, born May 14, 1973, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer. She began her career in 1987 by signing with A&M Records. She released her self-titled debut album, "Shanice," in 1991. This album, certified gold, spawned the hits "I Love Your Smile" and "Saving Forever for You." Her second album, "Inner Child," was released in 1992 and topped the Billboard 200. This platinum-certified album produced the hit "I'll Always Love You." Shanice has appeared in several films and television series, including the 1992 film "The Five Heartbeats" and the television series "Family Matters" from 1993 to 1998. In 2000, she made a comeback with the album "Every Woman Dreams." This gold-certified album produced the hit "When I Close My Eyes." Shanice released her most recent album, "Every Day Is Christmas," in 2006.
