BIOGRAPHY
"Silent Circle is a German electronic music group from Munich, Bavaria. The group was formed in 1984 by lead singer and musician Patrick Miller, bassist and producer Curt Cress, and keyboardist and composer David Brandes. Guitarist and producer Harald Blüchel later joined the group.
Silent Circle achieved international success with their singles "Touch in the Night" and "Oh, Don't Lose Your Heart Tonight", both of which reached the Top 10 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In 1986, the group released their first studio album, Touch in the Night, which was certified gold in Germany and Switzerland. The album also reached number 4 on the Billboard 200 in the United States.
In 1988, Silent Circle released their second studio album, Moonlight Affair, which was certified gold in Germany and Austria. The album also reached number 6 on the Billboard 200 in the United States.
The group disbanded in 1989, but reunited in 2009. In 2012, Silent Circle released a new album, Night Train, which was certified gold in Germany."
