BIOGRAPHY

Soft Cell is a British synth-pop duo formed in 1977. The duo consists of Marc Almond (vocalist and bassist) and Dave Ball (guitarist and keyboardist). They achieved international success with their single "Tainted Love", which reached number one in the UK in 1981. The duo split up in 1984, but reunited in 2001 for a reunion tour. In 2018, they announced a farewell tour.
