BIOGRAPHY
Tai Phong is a Franco-Vietnamese rock band originating from Paris, France. Formed in 1973 by brothers Thanh and Lam Phong, as well as their friend Mai Anh Dao, their music is influenced by psychedelic rock, progressive rock, and traditional Vietnamese music. The band experienced some success in France in the 1970s and 1980s with albums such as Tai Phong (1973), Catch Up (1976), and Windows (1979). After disbanding in 1985, the group reunited in 2001 and released a new album, Breathing, in 2003. In 2012, Tai Phong was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
