Victoria D is a French-Canadian singer, songwriter, and producer born on June 22, 1968, in Montreal. She was a key figure in the club and house scene of the 1980s and 1990s. Notably, she was a member of the duo Boogie Down Productions with DJ and producer Jean-Marc Cerrone. As a solo artist, she released multiple albums and singles, including "I'm Gonna Get You", "This Beat Is Mine", and "Let's Go".
In the 1980s, Victoria D recorded a series of house and disco singles that became club hits. In 1985, she released her first album, "In the Heat of the Night".
