Zaz is a French singer born on May 1, 1985 in Tours (Indre-et-Loire). She gained recognition in 2010 with her first eponymous album, "Zaz", and continued with the success of her second album, "Si j'étais elle", in 2012. In 2013, she participated in the soundtrack of the movie "Beauty and the Beast" with the song "La Belle". In 2015, she released her third album, "Paris", which went straight to number one on the sales charts in France and Belgium.
Coming from a modest background, Zaz left her job in the hospitality industry to fully devote herself to her musical career. She started by playing in bars and cafes, then joined the jazz festival circuit. She then went on a tour in France and Europe, including Germany and Spain.
