"49 Swans is a French music group formed in 1999. The band consists of six members: Nicolas Dufresne (vocals, guitar), Benjamin Dufresne (keyboards), Vincent Dufresne (drums), Olivier Girard (bass), Jérôme Lalande (guitar) and Simon Marchand (guitar). The band has released three studio albums: « J'ai faim » (2000), « Rêves » (2002) and « État d'urgence » (2004). They have also released a live album, « En concert » (2005). The band experienced some success with their singles « J'ai faim », « Rêves » and « État d'urgence », which all reached the Top 40 of the music charts in France. In 2006, the band took a break and each of its members undertook solo projects. They reunited in 2009 and released a new album, « Renaissance », in 2011. They also released a new live album, « En concert 2 », in 2012. The band announced a new break in 2013 for each of its members to pursue other projects. They reunited again in 2016 and released a new studio album, « 49 Ers », in 2017."
