Ayla is a German trance music producer and DJ. She is best known for her song "Liebe", which was a hit in Germany in 2000. Born and raised in Germany, Ayla began her musical career in the early 1990s, mixing in clubs in her hometown of Frankfurt. She quickly began producing her own music, and her first single, "Ayla", was released in 1995. The song became a club hit in Germany, leading Ayla to sign with German label Superstition. Ayla's debut album, simply titled Ayla, was released in 1997. The lead single from the album, "Liebe", was a massive hit in Germany, reaching number one on the German singles chart. The song was also successful in other European countries, and helped establish Ayla as a leading artist. Ayla's second album, Angel Falls, was released in 2000. The lead single from the album, "Angel Falls", was another success for Ayla, reaching the top 10 in Germany. Ayla has released a further two albums, Into the Light (2002) and Miracle (2004). She has also released several singles, including "Ayla Part II" (2000), "I Wish" (2001), "Dreamland" (2002) and "Forever" (2003). Ayla is one of the most popular trance music artists in Germany, and has sold over a million records worldwide.
