BIOGRAPHY
Bananarama is a female pop music group originally from London, England. The group was formed in 1981 by childhood friends Siobhan Fahey and Sara Dallin. They were later joined by their friend Keren Woodward. The group achieved international success in the 1980s and 1990s with hits such as "Venus", "Cruel Summer" and "I Heard a Rumour". The group disbanded in 1988, but Fahey and Dallin reformed Bananarama in 1991. Woodward left the group in 1998 to focus on her family. Fahey left again in 2001, and Dallin and Woodward continued to work together as Bananarama until Woodward retired in 2009. Dallin then pursued a solo career.
