E-Type, also known as Bo Martin Erik Eriksson, is a Swedish record producer, singer-songwriter, and DJ born on March 27, 1966, in Stockholm. With a career that began in the 1990s, E-Type is considered one of the pioneers of the eurodance style in Scandinavia. His debut album, "Made in Sweden," released in 1993, was certified gold in Sweden. He has since released several successful international albums and singles, including "Set the World on Fire," "This Is the Way," and "Angels Crying." In 2001, E-Type was named "DJ of the Year" by the Swedish magazine "Slitz."
