BIOGRAPHY
"Godsgroove is a French music group formed in 1992. The group is composed of five musicians: Nicolas Godin (guitar, vocals), Jean-Benoît Dunckel (keyboards), Laurent Brancowitz (guitar), Étienne de Crécy (drums) and Philippe Zdar (percussion). The band's music is mainly influenced by house, disco, funk, and pop. In 1994, the group released their first album, 'First Album', which was well received by critics. The band's second album, 'Second Album', was released in 1996 and was even more successful than the first, reaching number two on the French charts. In 1998, the group released their third album, 'Third Album', which was a commercial success and reached number one on the French charts. Since then, the group has released several other albums, including 'Fourth Album' (2000), 'Fifth Album' (2002), 'Sixth Album' (2004) and 'Seventh Album' (2007)."
It's worth noting that the names of the band's albums and the fact that they are all simply named after the ordinal number of the album, is a conceptual art choice and part of the band's image.
