BIOGRAPHY
Take That is a British pop music group formed in Manchester in 1990. The group is mainly composed of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen. Robbie Williams and Jason Orange were also members of the group, but they both respectively left in 1995 and 2014.
Take That first gained recognition in the UK with their second single, "It Only Takes a Minute", which topped the charts in 1992. The group then achieved international success with hits like "Back for Good" and "Never Forget".
The peak of the group was in the 90s, before Robbie Williams left the group to launch his solo career in 1995. Despite tensions among the group members, Take That managed to reunite in 2005, and since then, they have continued to produce music and successfully perform.
Take That has released eight studio albums, all of which have charted in the UK Top 10, demonstrating their consistent popularity. Their music has been recognized with numerous industry music awards, including at the Brit Awards.
Their music style ranges from pop to dance, to pop-rock, but their distinctive sound combined with their ability to create catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics can always be observed.
Robbie Williams' departure was a blow to the group, but it did not hinder their transformation into a true musical powerhouse. The group has managed to remain relevant and gain new fans while respecting their roots.
