Tibet Wake Up is an emerging Tibetan musical group formed in 2016, consisting of four Tibetan musicians: Tenzin Choegyal (vocals, guitar, percussion), Yangchen Dolkar (vocals, keyboard), Lobsang Tenzin (vocals, bass), and Sonam Phuntsok (vocals, drums). The band's music is influenced by Tibetan folk music, blues, rock, and jazz. In 2016, the group released their self-titled debut album "Tibet Wake Up," which received critical acclaim and was nominated for the Tibetan Music Award for Album of the Year. In 2019, the group released their second album, "Fire in the Mountain."
