X-Static is an American electronic music group formed in 1990. The group consists of two members, DJ Adam X and singer/guitarist/bassist/percussionist/producer/composer/arranger/remixer/sound engineer/lighting designer/videographer/photographer/DJ/music producer/singer/songwriter/executive producer/musician/producer/graphic designer/webmaster Mike Taylor. The group has released six studio albums, two compilations, two live albums, and numerous singles and remixes. Their music is a fusion of techno, house, drum and bass, dub, hip-hop, rock, and experimental electronic music. The group disbanded in 2006, but reunited in 2013.
