Alex Armes is a Spanish DJ and electronic music producer. Born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1985, he began his DJ career in 2002 and quickly climbed the ranks of the Barcelona clubbing scene. In 2006, he signed his first contract with German label Kontor Records and released his first single, "In My Arms". Since then, he has released several singles and albums, and has collaborated with numerous artists, including Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki and Afrojack. In 2011, he was ranked number one Spanish DJ by DJMag España magazine. In 2012, he was ranked 47th among the world's DJs by the same magazine. He is currently signed with the label Ultra Music.
