Alyssa Reid is a Canadian singer and songwriter born on March 16, 1993, in Edmonton, Alberta. She began her music career in 2007 at the age of 13 by publishing video covers of songs on YouTube. In 2010, she signed a contract with Wax Records music label and released her first single, "Alone Again," which was a big hit in Canada and the United States. In 2011, her debut studio album, "The Game," reached second place on the Canadian album chart. In 2012, she collaborated with American rapper Snoop Dogg on the single "The Way You Move," which reached the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. In 2013, her second studio album, "Time Bomb," reached fifth place on the Canadian album chart.
