CharlixCX, an English musical artist and songwriter, was born on August 2, 1992, in Cambridge. She signed with Asylum Records in 2010 and released her first single "Nuclear Seasons" in 2012. Her first studio album, True Romance, was released in 2013. In 2014, she co-wrote and performed "Fancy" with Iggy Azalea, which reached number one in the United States. Her second studio album, Sucker, was released in 2014 and reached the fifth spot in the UK. In 2016, she co-wrote and performed "Don't Want: The Party" with Lil Yachty, which reached number nine in the United States. In 2017, she released her third and fourth studio albums, Number 1 Angel and Pop 2. In 2019, she released her fifth studio album, Charli.
