Cosmic Gate is a German duo of trance music DJs and producers, consisting of Stefan Bossems (also known as DJ Bossi) and Claus Terhoeven (also known as Nic Chagall). Their first studio album, "No More Sleep," was released in 2000, followed by five additional studio albums, with the most recent one being "Start to Feel," released in 2014. They have also released numerous singles and remixes, with their remix of DJ Tiesto's "Exploration of Space" being one of the most famous. In 2015, they were ranked as the 21st best DJs in the world by DJ Mag. Cosmic Gate was formed in 1999 by Stefan Bossems and Claus Terhoeven, two German DJs and producers who both already had solid experience in the electronic music scene. Bossems was already known for his work with the techno group S.Y.N.C., while Terhoeven was a solo DJ and producer who had released several singles and albums under the name Nic Chagall. The two began working together on remixes and original productions, and quickly found a sound that was unique to them.
