Daniel Portman is a Scottish producer, DJ, and musician, born in Glasgow in 1990. He began his career playing electronic music in Glasgow clubs from the age of 16. In 2009, he signed a contract with German label Kontor Records. His first single "San Francisco" reached the top of the club charts in Germany. Daniel Portman followed this with several other singles and collaborations with renowned artists such as Tiësto, Laidback Luke, Sander van Doorn, and Nervo. In 2012, he released his first album "Daniel Portman and Friends" followed by a world tour including dates in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. He is also known for his remixes of numerous artists such as Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Lana Del Rey, and Katy Perry.
