Eric Redd is an American dancer, choreographer, and musician. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and began his training at the age of six. He studied at the Juilliard School, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, and the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. He has danced with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Martha Graham Dance Company, the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, and the Paul Taylor Dance Company. He has also choreographed for ballet, modern dance, and tap companies. In addition to his work as a dancer and choreographer, Eric Redd is also a musician. He plays the piano, drums, and percussion. He has released two albums, "The Eric Redd Quartet" and "The Eric Redd Quintet."
