BIOGRAPHY
Giovanni "Gio" Di Leva is an Italian singer, songwriter, and record producer.
Born in Rome, Di Leva began his singing career in the 1980s, releasing his first album, Gio, in 1982. He has since released thirteen studio albums, including the platinum-selling album Io canto (2001) and the gold-certified album Prendi questa mano (2003). Di Leva has also composed and produced for other artists, such as Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, and Tiziano Ferro.
In addition to his music career, Di Leva has also appeared in several films and television shows, including the 2009 film Io sono l'amore.
Di Leva has won numerous awards throughout his career, including three World Music Awards, two MTV Europe Music Awards, and two Italian Music Awards.
