John Monkman is a British producer, DJ, and musician born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, in 1979. He began his musical career playing guitar in several rock bands before turning to electronic music production. He has released his own tracks on independent labels and founded the electronic music label "Get Physical Music" in 2010. Moreover, Monkman has collaborated with numerous artists, including German DJ and producer Solomun. In 2016, he released his debut solo album, "Bees & Butterflies."
