Kid Arkade is a Grammy-nominated American producer, songwriter, and DJ based in Los Angeles, California. His work spans across multiple music genres including pop, rock, electronic, and hip-hop.
Born in Connecticut and raised in Los Angeles, Kid Arkade (real name Nick Salkowski) began his career in the music industry as a touring DJ and producer for various artists. In 2010, he co-founded the production duo The Monsters & Strangerz with producer/songwriter Amir "Cash" Esmailian. The duo has since produced and co-written songs for some of the biggest names in music, including Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Flo Rida, among others.
In 2015, Kid Arkade partnered with British rock singer Josh Franceschi (of You Me at Six) to form the pop-rock duo Kid Arkade. Their first single "Stars" was released in 2016 and peaked at number 5 on the UK Singles Chart. The duo's following single, "Somebody Else," was released in 2017 and peaked at number 22 on the UK chart.
Kid Arkade has also released several solo singles, including "Falling" (featuring American singer-songwriter Skylar Grey) and "Can't Fight It" (featuring American singer-songwriter Elle King).
In 2018, Kid Arkade received a Grammy nomination for his work on Justin Bieber's album Purpose.
