BIOGRAPHY
Laurent Schark is a French DJ and electronic music producer. Born in Paris in 1977, he began his career in 1998 by producing remixes for artists such as David Guetta, Bob Sinclar, and Martin Solveig. In 2000, he co-founded the record label Spinnin' Records with his friend and colleague Michael Zager. Spinnin' Records quickly became one of the most important labels in the electronic music genre, releasing albums by artists such as Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, and Steve Aoki. In 2010, Schark launched his own series of podcasts called "Laurent Schark Selection," which is broadcast on iTunes and has become one of the most popular music podcasts in France. In 2012, he created his own booking agency, Scharkbooking, representing artists such as Martin Solveig, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Nervo.
