BIOGRAPHY
Victoria Christina Hesketh, also known as the English electropop singer and DJ, Little Boots, was born in Blackpool, Lancashire. She attended the Catholic St. Mary's school, where she studied music and theater. She later graduated with an English literature degree from the University of Leeds.
After graduation, Hesketh formed the band Dead Disco with two friends. The band released two singles, "City Place" and "You're So Cool," but did not achieve commercial success and disbanded in 2006.
Hesketh then pursued a solo career under the stage name Little Boots. She released her first single, "Stuck on Repeat," in 2008, which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart. Her debut album, "Hands," was released in 2009 and peaked at number five on the UK Albums Chart.
In 2010, Hesketh was nominated for a Brit Award in the British Female Solo Artist category. She has since released two more albums, "Nocturnes" (2013) and "Working Girl" (2015).
Hesketh has also worked as a DJ and remixed songs for other artists, including Katy Perry, La Roux, and Ellie Goulding.
