BIOGRAPHY
Luka Sambe is a musical artist born in France on June 6, 1993. He was raised in a family passionate about music and began learning music at the age of 4. At 12, he started learning piano and composition. In 2010, he studied music at the Paris Conservatory of Music, then at the Royal College of Music in London in 2012, at the Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2014, at the University of California, Berkeley in 2016, and at New York University in 2018. Sambe is a classical and jazz pianist, and has also studied the violin.
Sambe's talent has been recognized by various specialized publications. In 2016, he was named one of the best jazz pianists under 30 by Downbeat magazine. In 2017, 2018 and 2019, JazzTimes magazine also designated him as one of the best jazz musicians under 30.
