BIOGRAPHY
Nervo is an Australian DJ and producer duo consisting of sisters Miriam and Olivia Nervo, based in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, the two sisters began their musical career as singers and songwriters. They signed with Australian dance music label Ministry of Sound in 2007 and released their first single, "This Kind of Love," in 2008.
In 2009, the duo shifted their focus to producing electronic music. They have produced several singles for artists such as David Guetta, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, and Will.I.Am. In 2010, their song "We're All No One" was included in Guetta's album "One Love." They also produced the song "Barraca" for Steve Aoki's album "Wonderland" that same year.
In 2011, Nervo released their first studio album, "Collateral," which reached number four on the Australian ARIA chart. In 2012, the duo was ranked as the twelfth highest-paid DJs in the world by Forbes and were named "Producers of the Year" at the International Dance Music Awards.
In 2013, Nervo released their second studio album, "Revolusion," which reached number eight on the Australian ARIA chart. In 2014, the duo was ranked as the tenth highest-paid DJs in the world by Forbes.
In 2015, Nervo released their third studio album, "Collateral." The album reached number two on the Australian ARIA chart. In 2016, the duo was ranked as the eighth highest-paid DJs in the world by Forbes.
In 2017, Nervo released their fourth studio album, "This Kind of Love." The album reached number one on the Australian ARIA chart. In 2018, the duo was ranked as the fifth highest-paid DJs in the world by Forbes.
