Pansil (stylized as PANSIL) is a Sri Lankan musical duo composed of brothers Rohan de Silva (born 9 October 1984) and Sanjeev de Silva (born 11 January 1986). The duo's music combines contemporary R&B, hip hop and traditional Sri Lankan music. Pansil was established in 2006, following the brothers' completion of their studies in the United Kingdom. Their debut album, Pansil, was released in 2007 and achieved both commercial and critical success. The album's lead single, "Deweni Inima," became a massive hit in Sri Lanka and earned the brothers several awards, including the Best New Artist award at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards Sri Lanka.
