The electronic music duo Pegboard Nerds was formed in 2011 by Alexander Odden and Michael Parsberg. Their music is mainly influenced by dubstep, drum and bass, and electronic music in general. They have released several singles and EPs, including "Fire in the Hole" and "Disconnected," which were well received by critics. In 2013, they released their first album "Nerds by Nature," which was ranked number one on the electronic album sales chart on iTunes. In 2014, they participated in the television show "The Voice" in the United States, where they were finalists. They also released their second album "Collab Bro" in collaboration with electronic music artist Haywyre. The album was well received by critics and was ranked number one on the electronic album sales chart on iTunes. In 2016, they released their third album "Nostalgia," which was also well received by critics.
