"Peppermint Heaven was an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1989. The original lineup of the band consisted of lead singer Steve Harwell, guitarist Greg Camp, bassist Jimi 'Cracker' Havelin, and drummer Paul De Lisle. The group is best known for their hit single 'All Star' of 1993, which was featured in the movie Dumb and Dumber and peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100.
The band released their debut album, Fush Yu Mang, in September 1997. The album was a commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 and selling over four million copies in the US. The lead single from the album, 'All Star', was a massive hit, reaching the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 and becoming one of the most popular songs of the 1990s. The other singles from the album, 'Walkin' on the Sun' and 'The Impression That I Get', were also successful, reaching the top 20 of the Hot 100.
After the release of their second album, Astro Lounge, in 1999, the band went on hiatus. In 2006, the band reunited for a tour, but disbanded again in 2009. In 2013, the band announced that they were working on new music and planning a tour. However, the band has not yet released any new music or embarked on a tour."
