"Quentin Mosimann is a French music artist who has gained great popularity in Switzerland, notably due to his participation in the famous television show Star Academy. Born in 1988 in Geneva, Mosimann began his musical career by playing classical piano before turning to pop and electronic music. In 2007, he participated in the seventh season of Star Academy, where he finished in second place. His participation in the show allowed him to gain popularity and launch his musical career. In 2009, he released his first album, À la poursuite du bonheur, which was a great success in Switzerland. Mosimann has since released several other albums and singles, and has collaborated with numerous artists, including American singer Amanda Wilson. In 2016, he represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest with his song "Boys and Girls", finishing in 11th place. Mosimann is also recognized for his DJ and producing talents, and has collaborated with numerous clubs and festivals around the world."
