Rodion Gordin was born in Russia in 1966. He began his musical career as a member of the Soviet army orchestra, later becoming a soloist with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1992, he immigrated to the United States where he worked as a freelance musician and composer. Gordin has composed music for films, television shows, and video games, as well as for symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles. His music has been performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the San Francisco Symphony, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic, among others.
