BIOGRAPHY
Sarah Brightman is a British singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and model. She has been credited with having sold more concert tickets than any other solo artist in history. Brightman began her career as a member of the dance troupe Hot Gossip and released her first single, "I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper", in 1978. She gained international fame as a member of the rock group The Police, with whom she recorded "Don't Stand So Close to Me" and "Every Breath You Take". She left the group in 1986 to pursue a solo career.
