Steve Philibin is a Franco-American artist known for his electronic music and techno-pop. Born in France in 1966, he grew up in California where he began his musical career playing guitar in independent rock bands. In 1988, he became interested in electronic music and began producing his own tracks. In 1990, he signed with the French techno label R&S Records and released his first album, "The Future of the Future". Philibin has since collaborated with numerous electronic music artists, including Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, and Richie Hawtin. In 2000, he founded the electronic music label Tektite Records. Philibin currently lives and works in Paris.
