"UMEK is a Slovenian techno and house music producer and DJ, born in Ljubljana in 1970. He began his musical career in the 1990s playing rock and punk in various bands. In 1995, he turned to techno music and released his first album, "Album 1", in 1997. Since then, UMEK has released several albums and performed in numerous clubs and festivals around the world. He is also the founder of the techno music label 1605 Music Therapy."
