Ian Carey is an American DJ and music producer. He was born on November 3, 1975 in San Francisco, California. Carey began his career playing house music in clubs in San Francisco. In 2000, he released his first album, Satisfied. Carey then signed with the label Ultra Records and released several singles, including "Get Shaky" and "Shot Caller". In 2010, Carey released his second album, Ian Carey Project. He has also released several singles with artists such as Snoop Dogg, Timbaland and Rihanna. Carey currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
