BIOGRAPHY
M-Diva is a French musical artist, born in 1981 in France, with roots in Martinique. She grew up between Martinique and metropolitan France. Passionate about classical music, she studied at the Conservatoire de Paris, before turning to jazz at the American School of Modern Music in Paris. She later deepened her knowledge of music by following musicology studies at the University Paris 8.
Before devoting herself fully to her artistic career, M-Diva worked as a music journalist for the Jazzman magazine and was artistic director of the French jazz label Jazz à la Villette.
In 2006, she created her own music label, MDM Recordings. A year later, in 2007, she released her first self-titled album, "M-Diva". She followed this with the release of two other albums, "Diva's Delight" in 2009 and "Diva's Dreams" in 2011.
