BIOGRAPHY

Moonheads is a French rock band formed in 2006 in Paris. It consists of four musicians: Nicolas Gautier (vocals, guitar), Benjamin Levy (guitar), Romain Goulon (bass) and Julien Cassarino (drums). The band has released two studio albums, "Moonheads" (2007) and "Electric Children" (2009), as well as an EP, "The Sun Sessions" (2008). Moonheads has also participated in several compilations, such as "Paris Rocks" (2007) and "Rock en Seine" (2009). Moonheads draws inspiration from groups such as Nirvana, Pixies, Sonic Youth, and Pavement, and their music is characterized by distorted guitars, catchy riffs, and memorable melodies. The band has developed a unique and distinctive sound, which has won over a wide audience in France and abroad. Moonheads has given numerous concerts in France and abroad, including in Japan, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and Canada. The band has also participated in many festivals, such as the Cannes Film Festival, the Angoulême Festival, the Festival des Inrocks, the Printemps de Bourges, the Hellfest, the Dour Festival, and the Rock en Seine. The critics have praised Moonheads and the band has won several awards, including the Constantin Prize in 2007 and the Grand Prize for Independent Music in 2009.
